Would you like to join Y-Press?

Are you interested in teamwork and covering a variety of subjects?
Would you like to work on articles for The Indianapolis Star or WFYI-FM (90.1)? Are you interested in talking with people on a variety of subjects? Do you want to produce stories for other media outlets, including Y-Press's Web site.

Y-Press has conducted group interviews on topics such as benefits and drawbacks of video games, meth use among teenagers, and life in Birmingham in the 1960s compared to life there today.

Y-Press is an organization dedicated to educating the community on topics that are important and relevant to the youth.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be involved in, then this is the training for you!

The training is conducted by current Y-Press members. This is a training that you must not miss! The training is for anyone between the ages of 10-18 who would like to join the news bureau.

The next Y-Press training for 24 new members will take place in September 2008. We are currently accepting applications.
